Administrative Control Panel Overview

Your administrative control panel is the heart of
your reseller account. This is where you create
your hosting plans, customize your control panels,
setup your billing system, signup and administer
accounts, respond to customer support tickets, and monitor resource usage and billing
activity of your customers.

Here is an overview of each of the features you will find in your Administrative control panel:

Design Settings -
here is where you can set your preferences for the "skin" choices of your end users and also modify the color scheme of your end user control panels.

Company Info -
this is where you set your company information. It's important you fill this out if you are using our domain registration feature because it is this information that will go to the registrar as the technical contact for the domains you register for your clients.

Login Texts -
customize the text that appears on your customer's login page.

Signup Texts -
customize the text that appears on your signup pages.

Misc. Texts -
customize the text that appears on the various support, billing, and sales emails sent to clients. This information will appear on the "welcome" email sent to customers when they signup. You can also add a privacy statement here.

Default Language -
select the default language of your end user control panels.

Regional Options -
define various "regional" options such as currencies, dates, and times.

SETTINGS

Mail Settings - this allows you to specify where the system should  email notices for various items such as new signups, billing problems, support tickets, etc.

CC Brands -
allows you to add credit card brands other than those already in the merchant gateway section.

Merchant Gateway -
this is where you configure the payment processing options you will use to bill your customers, such as your merchant account, Paypal, account, etc.

Domain Registrar -
you can define the price you will charge your customers for domain registration if you elect to use the built-in domain registration feature. (You will be billed $15/year per domain).

Signup Guard -
this allows you to define various parameters to use in blocking automatic signups for the purposes of fraud protection. Orders that meet the criteria you specify here will have to be manually approved by you before they are processed.

We highly recommend you moderate everything if you are doing extensive online advertising.

Tech Support -
allows you to define a support email address that will automatically create a support ticket in your ticket center when clients email that address. You can also set other items related to your support center here.

Note: before you do not POP the support email address you set here locally - the system will do that for you.

User Warnings -
tell the system when to send quota warning messages to your customers if they approach their quota limits.

Taxes -
allows you add a local or regional sales tax if applicable.

Affiliate Program -
allows you to create unique affiliate links for use with an outside affiliate program for purposes of tracking orders through your hosting plan signup form.

E. MANAGER

DNS Manager - this is where you assign the DNS zone for your reseller account (all your customer's domains are aliased through your DNS zone), and setup the "instant alias" for your account (the "instant alias" allows your customers to access their websites before the domain is registered or transferred).

Server Aliases -
here is where you create your "server alias" or customer nameservers for your reseller domain. This is optional.

Shared SSL Manager -
this feature will allow your customers to share your SSL certificate rather than having to purchase their own individual certificates for their domains (you do need to purchase your own certificate to enable this feature).

CP SSL Manager-
allows you to secure your reseller control panel (including the hosting plan signup form for your customers).

Other -
allows you to set email invoicing of your customers on or off and reset the assigned credit limit for your customers.

REPORTS

Estimated balance exhaustion date -
From time to time you might need to inform your check users about when their account balances are likely to become negative. In other words, let them know by what date they will need to make their next payment.
