By default, the home page for any given domain is always index.html on the system. If you would like to set our own preferences for home page indexing you can do that using the "directory indexing" feature under the "Web Options" section of the end user control panel. 

For example, you might want to set the hierarchy to be home.htm, then index.htm and so on. 

Or you might to need to set it to index.php if you build sites using php.

To do this...

1. Log in to your End User control panel

2. Click on "Web Options" under the Quick Access menu.

3. Scroll down the page and turn ON directory indexing.

4. Set your preferences in the box that appears.
