Reseller Control Panel Overview
Your "Reseller" control panel
is the first control panel you log into on the ValueReseller
system (the logins you got in your first welcome letter). The
current color is blue and it has our logo at the top. We recommend you bookmark this login page or
you can always login from here in the support center (see the green
box to the left).
Your Reseller control panel is for all your
account information with ValueReseller. This is where you submit
support tickets to us, view your invoices, change your contact
information, etc.
Note that you can get to your Administrative Control panel directly from the
Reseller control panel (and from there you can access end user
control panels).
Here is a brief overview of each feature in
your Reseller control panel. The overview below corresponds to the
"Left Menu" skin. The features are the same in the other
skins but laid out a bit differently.
INFO
Quick Access
- gives you
an icon based "quick access" menu for navigation in your
reseller control panel.
Admin Account - you can login to your Admin control panel
Account Settings - allows you to upgrade to another reseller
plan, upgrade your bandwidth allotments, or turn off the "tooltips"
help feature.
Contact Info - here is where you can update your contact info
for your reseller account.
Change URL - allows you to set the login url where your
customers will login to their accounts. This will be in the
format:
http://cp.yourdomain.com:8080
(do not do this until your service domain is fully propagated to
our servers).
Look and Feel - allows you to change the look and
feel of the reseller control panel (this will not change it for
the End User CP, that is done in the Admin CP "look and feel" section.
RESELLER
User Password
- change the password for your reseller control
panel.
Choose Account - allows you to select which account you
want to work with (in the
case of multiple reseller accounts).
Add Account - allows you to an additional reseller account.
Language - select the language of the reseller control
panel from the 7 supported languages.
SUPPORT CENTER
Knowledgebase -
this feature is not activated as we currently use our own
Knowledgebase with detailed screen-shots as well as text. (http://valuereseller.webmastertoolkit.com)
Make a Ticket
- submit a support ticket to
ValueReseller Technical Support.
Trouble Tickets - view your submitted support tickets and
the replies from our support staff.
BILLING
Online Price -- this shows
you the maximum free units of diskspace and bandwidth for your
given reseller plan as well as the number of units you have
currently allocated from the totals available.
Reseller Price - this section shows you the maximum free units
of other billable resources (such as IP addresses and control
panel accounts) as well as the usage and price for additional
accounts or IP's.
Online Invoice - shows all debits and credits to your account
and allows you to view and print detailed invoices.
Online Sum Invoice - a summary of just the charges made to
your account (not all debits and credits).
Billing Profile - allows you to change or update your method
of payment for your reseller account.
LOGOUT - logout of your
reseller control panel |
